Laquichia worked with two school aged clients and received praise from the parents for the worked she did with them.
When it was time for Laquichia to leave her assignment, she personally tried to find a suitable replacement. To whom it may concern, Laquichia Webb is a young woman I have gotten to know when she has volunteered and interned in my classroom. She has done these activities for me while balancing schoolwork and family responsibilities. I feel this shows she can manage her time well and this will help her in her chosen profession. Laquichia originally helped out in my classroom just because she enjoyed it. By volunteering, she is getting experience now that will aid her when she enters the work field for herself. When she has worked in my classroom, she looked for what needed to be done and jumped right in to help. She is upbeat and positive with the students and they enjoy being around her. She is patient and loving with students that she has just met.
She is energetic and outgoing. These are skills and attributes she will definitely need in the classroom! She has made good grades all throughout school. To whom it may concern: I have known Laquichia Webb for over 10 years in the capacity of a tenant, a classmate, and a friend. When she first told me that she was applying to teach English in Japan, I was very grateful because this is something she has longed to do since I can remember. She has a passion for teaching that is rarely seen in the States and she is able to adjust to every situation that I have seen her in. She is able to relate to neighbors, strangers, classmates, and those from completely different walks of life than her own. I have seen her communicate with people who do not speak the same language as her and put them at ease with her kind smile and welcoming disposition. In addition, she is highly qualified to teach English as a second language.
Not only because of her educational background, which I'm sure you know about, but also because she understands the way children learn, think and imagine. She is able to relate to children in ways that most adults have forgotten and sees every child as a blessing, a joy to be around. She has surrounded herself with a plethora of interactions with children, from jobs to volunteer experiences to days at the park with my own nephews, and I have not heard her complain once about an ornery child. To add to this, she has worked with autistic children and has patience with those who are not the most intelligent children. She is able to teach with different styles and explain concepts in multiple ways.
Catering to every student and his or her learning ability, she can effectively teach at any age and to any student. This is because of her character and her heart, not just her education. Furthermore, Laquichia will not only adjust to the Japanese culture but will thrive in it. She taught herself Italian without formal classes and is also working on Spanish. She can relate to others and truly enjoys being in other cultures. Finally, Laquichia is a woman that has not stopped learning. She continues to modify her craft everyday and any training that she receives from your organization will fall on fertile soil. She is teachable, respectable, and amiable in any circumstance.
